Lori an I went down into Seattle to pick up another craigslist find and decided to stop off at King Discus (Remind me never to go down there on game days.  WOW!!! parking was crazy.) We were both pleasantly surprised with their tanks and their fish stock.  While in the area we headed over to A Place for pets.  Ended up with 17 Habrosus Corydoras (I'm allergic to real cats so these will have to do) and a group of Apistos cockatoo. Again a great selection and always great to talk with Kevin.  On our way home stopped off at Red "C" aquarium in shoreline. Had a great talk with Rob there and picked up some more blood worms. Figured we would head home with all of our fishy treasures. We got home and walked into the house at the nick of time, to a grey haze and an electrical smell.  It did not take long for use to discover that our 100 gal tank light fixture was producing the smell and smoke.  After isolating the power it seems that fan stopped working and overheated the unit and melted the end of the fixture.  It's a good thing we came home when we did, I would hated to see if it had it gotten any worse.

So what is a good fixture to grow plants in on a standard 100 gallon tank?
