Hi, it's been a long week.  I'm rewarding myself for getting through it, not felt well, by taking a long ferry ride tomorrow, 5 1/2 hrs, on 2 ferries.  Beach time in between.  And the weather should be lovely.  What are you all doing this weekend?  Hope it is fun!

Hi Barb and everyone. Hopefully you are all well. Tomorrow I am hanging out with some friends in DC. Vikki wants to take me to a new restaurant that she found. She swears by the food so we will see.

Today I am just relaxing. It's the last day of our cooling off period where high temps have been in the 70s. Tomorrow we are back in the 80s but hopefully we get no more 90s for the season.

Hi Barb & Willie.  I've been thoroughly enjoying our Fall weather!  It's been in the 40's the past two mornings and it's been wonderful.

I've been able to get some outside work done and also built a prototype cedar raised bed.  I'm hoping to switch all my gardening to raised beds next year and wanted to get some of the rough spots worked out before spring.



I set-up the prototype as a salad garden with stuff that will do okay in the cooler conditions.  Need to work out a cover for frost and netting during warmer months...  With a bit of luck I'll have it all sorted before spring next year!  Lol
