But we actually had a big thorm yesterday afternoon.  It only lasted about an hour but it dropped a ton of rain.  Unfortunately  , it's been so dry for so long that there is no evidence that we had rain at all.  It all soaked in.  But anything is better than nothing.

I've been watering Barb's Elephant Ears and my blueberries.  Everything else will sink or swim on it's own.  The Elephant Ears are getting overcrowded and droopy.  This winder, when they die down I'll dig the tubers up.  I have other places I want to camafloge with these great big leaves.

My knee seems to be doing better.  It only zapps me with pain when I stretch it out, either in bed of when I'm walking.  If I don't stretch it fully when I walk, I can walk without the cane, but it's a pretty ugly walk. I'm looking forward to finding out what the bone surgeon has to say.  I said that I'd go tomorrow, but my appointment is actually on Tuesday.  I'll let y'all know what he has to say.
Always move forward. Never look back.
