Going to be another hot one here today.  Billy is longing for a nice car ride, so I'm off to the store for some supplies bright and early before the heat gets bad.  Gasoline is back down below $2 here.  Figures after the holiday weekend they would drop the price...

I think I'll go work on the daphnia cultures before heading out...  it's still dark.  LOL

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson

The heat is coming back through. Our fake hurricane (Hermine) is finally leaving the area without one drop of rain by me and that will allow that mid-west heat to move in for the next few days.

The wind and clouds from the hurricane/tropical storm did for a great holiday weekend around here, but the threat of rain surely curtailed my plans to go out of town for a few days huh
