Since 1974 studies have revealed that cannabis has anti-tumor impacts. The results of the 1974 research, reported in Aug. 18, 1974, Washington Post newspaper feature, were that cannabis?s THC, ?slowed the development of lung cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in lab mice, and lengthened their lives by as much as 36 percent.? In 1975 a short article in the Journal of the National cancer institute titled ?Antineoplastic Activity of Cannabinoids,? they reported that ?Lewis lung adenocarcinoma growth was retarded by the oral administration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBD). Mice treated with THC for 20 successive days with THC and CBD had reduced main growth size.?
In 1998, a research study group at Madrid?s Complutense University Led by Dr. Manuel Guzman found that THC can selectively induce configured cell death in brain tumor cells without adversely affecting surrounding healthy cells. They reported in the March 2002 concern of ?Nature Medication? they had actually destroyed ?incurable? brain cancer tumors in rats by injecting them with THC. And in 2007 even Harvard Scientist discovered that compounds in marijuana cut the development of lung cancer. There is also a company called The SETH Group that revealed substances in cannabis can stop the growth of human glioblastoma multiforma (GBM) brain cancer cells. The SETH Group says ?No chemotherapy can match this nontoxic anti-cancer action.? Even in 2014 in 2012 a pair of researchers at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco discovered THC stops transition in many type of aggressive cancer.
The video below shows the active component in marijuana, THC, killing cancer cells:

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson

Here are a couple of articles that are somewhat related:

DEA keeps marijuana classified as a schedule 1 drug, making any research on it effects more difficult:

This is what can happen when drugs that are not well researched are used by people not knowing what they are doing (marijuana isn't this bad though):
