I have 3 good super veil males.  I'm not generally fond of superveils but I have to admit that when they're good they're stunning.

One of the three is slightly better than the others.  His fins are extremely strong rather than very strong.  I see it most in comparing the caudals.  He makes for a lot of white eggs, the he is het for ps and his mates have been likely to be het for the trait.  He has been with two female.  With this last female he raised to when the eggs started to wiggle before he ate them.  This is his 4th spawn and it's the best he has done :(

I have three choices:
I could switch him with a male with not quite as strong finnage but who is a to die for daddy.
I could pull the slate
I could suck it up and wait him out and hope that he gets a brain in his head at some point.

I'm leaning toward the third option.  What do y'all think?

#2 and #3.....pull a slate to see how they come out, if good..wait him out, and pull a spawn when you want it.....if not so good fry, swap mates anyway.....
...note if he continues to snack, pull him, and let the little lady raise em....or pull the spawn and have another pair foster raise them.....

I will let him try one more time before I pull the slate.  You agree that I should use the best rather than the second best even if I have to do things I would prefer not to do.  Thanks for the excellent advice.

It's all about quality.  (that was my siggy somewhere once a time)
