Oh look, it's Monday...

....that's ok...coffee's good ...now to wake up..... -6 here...two storms heading this way, they say we'll set a record for snow fall this year....oh boy...

It's way too cold! Think I'll do a few water changes then go to bed and sleep until spring!

Still -2 here at 10 a.m.   At least it's sunny and there is frost on all the trees making them glitter.

A news person said that we 're likely to have fewer insects this year due to the prolonged period of excessively cold weather. Even though some species have a type of antifreeze in their systems a number of them may succumb to this year's extremes.

... ...a little less buggy year would suit me just fine  ..it's actually 1 deg here, sun's out and it looks almost pleasant outside.....

You know, even here in mild weather (mostly) when we have a very cold winter like this year we do have less bugs in the following months. Years of very mild winters, the bugs in summer are really bad! I do hate the bugs here.  The fire ants are the worst, followed by mosquitos, ticks, and those huge brown water bugs sent here straight from Hell.  Keep warm up there everybody!
