Good morning everyone. It is cold and it is wet and depending on how much the temp drops we can see some snow and freezing rain. It is currently 38 degrees and the storm is almost passed us so will is a timing issue with the temp drop on weather we will get snow. It won't be much. huh Tomorrow we will get into the mid to high 60s. :o

The plan today is to stay home as much as possible and only going outside when Kobe needs to go. Kobe hates rain and he knows it's raining so it may be a while before he makes us go out.

Some putzing, napping and watching tv (college basketball) are the only things on my agenda today. How about you all? Whatever you do try to have some fun.

Hi Willie.  The weather man was right this time.  It dropped to 31 overnight.  We had some hard rain and strong gusty wilds last night.  The sun is out now but it's still very cold and windy.  Tuesday the temp will get up to 78 but until then, I'll do much like what your doing today except I'll be making egg rolls while you're watching Basketball.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Hi gang!...Aaaaahhhhhh...back up to mid-70s today...yay...and sunny!...

Woke up at 5:30 today and can't get back to sleep...so I've been clearing emails, etc...I'm going to go to the Kili club meeting tonight...fun...a friend is picking me up so we can ride and chat...

We had dinner at our neighbors' across our street last night...he's a former Edmonton, Alberta cop and is a non-stop story teller, and boy, does he have some stories ...! It reminded me of some of the stories the cops told me when I was teaching anatomy and physiology classes to local cops when I was teaching in community college...

As I was sitting in the game room last night, I watched the PBS spawn on the glass bottom again!...this morning the eggs were gone...I will cleanup a breeding cone and put it in there this week and maybe next time they'll use that so I can pull the eggs before the Cories get them!...

A couple 20g WCs are in store for today...and that's about it!..have a wonderful day and happy aquariuming... 8)
Happy Aquariuming,
Ron

So far we've had a lot of rain and wind but no snow. The rain has stopped for now but the temp is down to 32F so there will be some freezing in certain areas.

The weather app is still showing 70% precip for my area so we may get some snow yet. huh

Hi folks, it was like a Cat. 1 hurricane here for awhile this morning.  My neighbor's huge above ground trampoline blew up and almost over my 6' fence. If not for my fence, it would have blown away for miles I bet.  Or blown into one of the ponds here.  They got it down, but it is probably torn apart.  Wind and rain gone now. but will go into the 20's tonight, which I am quite irritated about.

But it has been a good dog day!  I found a 5 mo. old rescue chihuahua for my daughter and son in law, right here in my city.  They are on their way to pick him up right now.  A kind family picked him out of a box in a WalMart parking lot 3-4 weeks ago.  Someone had a box of them to give away and this little guy was the last one.  I went to see him a few hrs. ago, he is just adorable, about 3-4 lbs.  So excited for him to have a great new home.  The family who rescued him already has 3 dogs and 2 toddlers, in a rental, so no room to keep him.  Marine family.  I will post a pic when I get one.  I have another grand dog now.

Good on you, Barb! 👌

Beautiful here today. I've been putting in the fishroom when I should have been at the pool😩
Happy Aquariuming,

That's great Barb. You found that pup a new home. My weather was very similar to Barb's. That wind must have reached 60 to 70 mph. The snow that was coming down was coming in sideways and did not stick. It's over now but it will be a cold and windy night for sure.
