Great pond Barb, wish i still had mine.
Hi Greg...how are things in IL?

Not to bad now,i think i have a heat intolerance with my old age,if it's in the 80's and sunny you have to pay me to go outside. ;D
If i get any whiter i think the ghostbusters  are going to  knock on my door.  :o
...hahaha!...is it the heat or the humidity?...humidity is one of the reasons we chose not to move to my home state when we retired...
Happy Aquariuming,
Ron

Yeah the humidity sure doesn't help, heat index was 105 recently and is was brutal.
Many years ago it was about  100 and i was living in a apartment with no air,a friend that lived upstairs  stopped by and asked me if i wanted to go to the lakefront to cool off, being maybe 10-15  degrees cooler there.

Problem was there is no shade and he wanted to go lay on some giant hot rocks that makeup the shoreline. ;D
No thanks, i think i will stay here in the shade in front of the fan.

I'm the opposite, Greg.  I can handle heat.  I cannot abide cold.  Winter makes me want to hibernate.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Yeah some can handle it better for sure, when i was younger it really didn't bother me.
I worked it one shop for several years and the fish room was like a sauna.
Room heated rather than the tanks, about 150 tanks with no covers, had to top them off about every other day.
