Equafax was easy to freeze and was Transunion.  Experian doesn't accept my info for some reason huh

Have any of you guys frozen yours?  It's a good idea.

I didn't do anything. I look at my stuff almost everyday though.

The danger is since Equifax was hacked and our information is in the hands of who knows who, they would be able to open a new account using your personal info and you wouldn't know about it until a lot of damage was done.

Freezing the report doesn't affect your open lines of credit.  If you get a loan or want a new credit card you'll have to get it unfrozen.  I don't want a loan and I don't want another credit card so for me it was a no brainer.  Equifax and Transunion did it for free.  Experian wants $10 but they don't accept my info for some reason.

I'll look into it further. Thanks for the insight.
