I sold 10 adult fish from my 100 gallon.  I sold my Blue Clown pearl scales.  I loved those fish but they were all males so why keep them?  That tank had always peaceful.  Later, I moved 5 of my pairs that were in breeding tanks into the 100 gallon.  I figured, why not? I can't breed again until I get rid of a ton of fish.  They should enjoy the swimming room.

Oh my word.  Every fish in that tank is an a bad mood.  Hormones are raging.  It's fun to watch them spar as long as it's just sparing.   Once in a great while some fish starts taking real damage, won't quit, and keeps going back for more.  I haven't seen that in Angels yet but I saw it once in Discus.  The female preferred the male that was getting the shit beat out of him to the larger stronger fish.   I gave those two a 40 gallon cube of their own because they deserved it.  She loved her man and he would have died for her.

(I know it was just instinctive behavior, but I like my take on it better)
Always move forward. Never look back.
