I found silver dlollars

They were half partly sticking out of the dirt between the burn pile and the house.  They'd been through a fire.  There were 3 of them all welded together and bent.  I scrubbed the top one off as best I could and sure 'nuff it was a 1922 silver dollar.  I took them to show my neighbor.  He grew up on this land and has a collection of fossils and arrow heads he has found on the acreage.  I gave them to him.  He said that he's hammer them out and make something out of them.  I'm sure he will too, if his health improves.

He offered to loan me his metal detector.  One day I'll take him up on it.  Who knows, I might find buried treasure by the burn pile ;)
