Tank has been empty for over a week.  I'm not even sure which "failed" pair I had in this tank before I put the pair back into the community tank.  I looked in it today as I checked the TDS and temp because it's where I'll be housing Barb's pair when they arrive Wed.  What did is see but little black swimming dots!  I tossed them some BBS to keep them alive but I think I'll just let them become a healthful snack for Barb's pair.

Well at least grow em big enough to see what they are....??....they're survivors for one thing, so must be from very hearty stock too....????

It's hardly worth it.  I've only counted 16 of them and they've been 'bout starved.  If they grow a bit I'll net them out and put them in with the multitudes that went free swimming on August 28th.  If not they will be a snack.

I'm pretty sure that I know what pair it was.  It would be fun to save them if I could.  Their mother ate almost all her eggs, but of the 30 or so left 99% turn HB.   A son and daughter from that pair are in a 20 with a multitude of fry on their second try.

Wow that's cool.  everytime I tried to put any fish in an empty tank they died.  I ALWAYS had to put water in it first.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's snobbery and one-upmanship. People trying to pretend they're superior. Makes it so much harder for those of us who really are.

Good one Jon.  I didn't even have to play that clip I knew exactly what is was.  I still played it though, it's great I'll have to add it to my repertoire.
