Rainy Thursday

Good morning everyone. Hopefully you are all well. After an all day drizzle yesterday we finally got heavier rain during the overnight hours and we will have rain showers throughout the day. What's even better is that we will have rain mostly everyday for the next week.

Even though it is the same storm that caused all of that havoc in the south our high temps will only be in the 60s and with winds gusting up to 25 mph it feels like early spring.

With no appointments on the agenda today and not much dog walking because Kobe hates the rain, I will be able to spend some "productive time" in the fishroom.

I see opportunity to consolidate and reduce the amount of tanks I'm running even more. Only the Altum and Discus and turtle tanks are off limits. I will proceed slowly because the last thing I want to do is setup  more tanks after I take any down.

Wishing you all a great day.

Willie

Too Many Fish. Not Enough Tanks.

Good morning, Willie.  Congratulations on the rain!!!  I hope it keeps up.  It sure did here!

When I wasn't working on appliance repair I was out on the scooter picking up fallen branches so that Shawn could mow.  I didn't realize until bed time that I didn't have my phone in my back pocket.  It must have fallen out when I was picking up and tossing branches out of the way.  I've been out this morning scooting around looking for it, but the grass is so high, and it could be anywhere over about 3/4 of an acre.  I have a big order going out today.  I'll box the fish up early and get them to Boe's and come back and search the yard some more.  I'll ask whichever neighbors who are home to start calling my phone.  I need a phone, but I sure don't need another expense so I hope, hope, hope, that I can find it.

That's it for now.  I'll check back in later with (hopefully) good news, and to see what Barb and Ron have going on.  Hope you all have a fun day planned.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Barb

Yay for all the rain we are all getting, except Ron that is.  It was like a hurricane blowing through. here early afternoon today.  Several inches of rain plus high wind.  I have some garden damage. But glad to get rain.  Put my new Shubunkins in the pond today, it will be awhile until I see them again. Deep in hiding now.

You all have a good evening, if you are reading this Thursday night.  I will be back tomorrow,
Barb

I'm so happy for you guys.  Barb, it sounds like you won the rain lottery.  Willie, I hope you get more, soon.

I got the fish shipped and the phone has been found, thanks to my neighbor, April.

I know have almost twice as many tanks empty of fish than with fish.  I don't take mine down like you, Willie.  I hope to need them one day as grow out tanks.

I'll see y'all in the morning, friends.

Always move forward. Never look back.
