Crazy Wednesday

It's just 10 am and I've been high with joy and in the dumps with worry and back high as a kite again.  I feel almost dizzy!

I checked my auctions when I got up and my Pitch Black Ram pairs had sold!  I sent the guy an invoice and he paid within seconds!  Then Willie got with me and the box I sent to him will arrive late.  It's no big deal.  The fish should be fine, but it's still a bummer.  Right afterwards the same guy who bought the pitch blacks bought my auction for the Dutch Blues.  He wants the 2 confirmed pairs and an unconfirmed pair.  Again he paid immediately.  I have never had such easy transactions.  My SS check is supposed to arrive to day but even if it late I'm back in the money.

Now that I have hot water I'll be able to groom Judy's dog.  She's bringing him tomorrow and will carry him to the bathtub for me.  This means that I have to do something about my semi filthy house which is full of chicken feathers and bits of Styrofoam from making Willie's box.  It would be easy peasy if just plain old standing weren't so hard for me.

I do have to make a beer run.  I'll wait until tomorrow to hit the supermarket.  I want to make a big list of stuff to make that will get me through the month.  If I have meat and ingredients to last, all that I need to go for otherwise is fresh veggies.  Since I'll be going to the feed store for Charlotte tomorrow I'll be able to go to the nice big supermarket in Petal which is just a couple miles down the road from the feed store.

We had a good hard, but short rain last night.  We weren't desperate for it but we needed it.  Soon it will be time to plant winter veggies here.  I Round Up'd the weedy garden last week and am waiting for all the weeds to die.  Then I'll cover the area I want to plant with cardboard and in another week the ground will be easy to dig.  I'm not sure yet what I'll plant other than Garlic and Broccoli.

Hi Liz and everyone. I've been busy most of the morning cleaning the house for my incoming "visitors". They are kids but I don't want them to know that at times grandpa can be a slob. I was supposed to do most of the cleanup yesterday but I got myself caught up in the fishroom. There is always something going on down there.

Like Liz said I am waiting for a box of Dutch Blue rams that will now come tomorrow but I am ok with that. I have several tanks that they can go into but I will do a good water change on the tank I decide to put them in later this evening.

Other than that it is another beautiful day here and I will spend most of the rest of the afternoon in the park. Have a great day everyone.

Hi Liz and Willie, busy day for you both I see.  Glad you sold fish Liz and hope you get the box o fish tomorrow Willie.  You will love the Balto. aquarium, I was there a couple times a long time ago.  They had pink beluga whales in a huge tank back then.  I really liked the rain forest on the top level.

I had a morning that about wore me out, First seeing the ortho surgeon, who said I am doing great and my xrays of hip look perfect.  Now I have just 11 more months to go for total healing and less chance of dislocating my hip.  It is a constant worry to me.  Then I went over to see my mom and cut her hair.  That was a lot of walking and work.  But she was happy with it.  I took she and her room mate each some cut up watermelon. the home doesn't serve it, so they really enjoyed it.  I am taking it easy now.

Willie, my house is almost clean enough, too.  I'll finish up in the morning before Judy comes with her little dog, Franky Wayne.

Barb, I'm whupped too after not having done nearly as much as you.  I'm so yearning for bath.  Ron, I hope your hot bath last night took all your pain away.

It has been one hell of a day as far as fish sales go.  A guy got with me from work off shore. He bought my black ram auction.  He texted me, and it turns out he lives just 2 1/2 hrs away in New Orleans.  I suggested that he might want to drive up to get his fish rather than having me ship.  He wanted to know what other fish I had for sale and when I told him he wants to come here.  Too Cool!!!!  I love meeting new fish people.  We'll arrange a date good for both of us when he gets home from work Monday.  These guys work 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.  The money is good, but the work is hard.  Since he is coming here it means that I can post another auction.  I'll have tank space to keep the orders separate.  I'm too pooped to put more auctions up this evening, but I'll get it done tomorrow.  It's bath time now

Here it is 9:50pm as I start this...!  Long  day...

This morning we were up early(for us) and took a friend to the airport...later on we got our orders in and did them all afternoon...I sold the Rena 4-stage canister and the smaller discus...both went to ppl who really wanted them...

Liz, the hot tub was great...it felt super warm...always good for me..

Tomorrow is our day to clean house in the morning because cards will be played here in the afternoon...6 of us...guys against gals!...I hope they're ready for a whooping...

We've making a few changes in our product line of plants...we're dropping some of the floaters that don't ship well and cause poor reviews...ppl seem to want to bash rather than give an opportunity to fix it, which we're more than happy to do...oh well!
