Good morning everyone. This is the start of a big week for me. Thursday is the wedding day and I am on my way to pick up my rented tuxedo. After that I have to get a haircut and clean the house. Vikki comes in tomorrow and on Wednesday we head north for the wedding which is on Thursday.

This wedding was set up about 8 months ago and even then Saturday weddings were almost impossible to get and way more expensive. I hope to be back in town on Friday.

Aside from a few clouds and scattered showers today will be the beast weather day of the week. huh

Wishing everyone a great day.

Too Many Fish. Not Enough Tanks.

Good morning Willie and my other Mugwump friends.  As expected I'm totally exhausted and moving in slow motion today.  The meds have taken care of any pain so I'm just left with the tiredness.  I don't think I'll be getting much done today other than a few loads of laundry is do WC.  Although it just occurred to me that it would be a good time to divide my mealworm culture.  I have found my culture is so full of baby worms that I don't think that any of them have room to get to chicken feeding size.  The wheat bran I use as their food and bedding arrived via fedex Friday, just one day after I ordered them which kind of amazed me.  I can do worm culture work sitting down.  I will be doing a lot of sitting down today.

Charlotte is angry with me.  Her shed is deeply bedded with shavings and I wanted to lock her in for the night so she would poop on it so I could use the pee/poo shavings on the veggie garden.  All she did all night was walk in circles around the shed.  Didn't even touch her food.  When I let her out after taking her breakfast she headed up the road.  I haven't seen her since...She will come back because this is the only place she will get food that she can eat.
Always move forward. Never look back.

So, Liz, are you saying that Charlotte is running away from home?... :D

Hey Willie, I hope you enjoy the wedding, and hopefully some champagne that goes along with it...! mim

We had more toad-strangler thorms role through last night as we went to bed...lost electricity for about 35-45 minutes...we have lots of street lights throughout our community so it was eerie looking out and seeing none of them lit... ??? ???

It's 87 right now and going to 99 today...partly cloudy and chance of rain tonight is 40%...

I did get WCs on my smaller tanks done yesterday...and the shrimp buyers due yesterday did come and buy...I'm expecting one more today...he helped me move my 125g tank from Florence to here so he's getting his bloody Marys almost free...

Today is bill-payment day...ugh...but it has to be done!...

I hope everyone has a happy aquariuming day..., |^|
Happy Aquariuming,
Ron

She did want to run away from home.  I don't know where she went but it couldn't have been very far.  She came back when I called her for her lunch.  Lunch is her favorite meal.  It's Alfalfa cubes that I soak in hot water in the morning so they will be be falling apart tender soft by noon.  She's going to get locked in again this night so she'd better get used to it.  I'm the boss because I'm the only with the food.  It's the only good thing about having a horse that can't chew grass well enough to swallow it.  How hard or easy it is for her to accept the facts is up to her.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Hey, give me a break.  This is a 31 year old mare that most people would have sold because she still looks good and is a good western pleasure horse.  They wouldn't tell her age or that she couldn't graze for sustenance.  I'd never do that.  She is mine and it is my duty to take good care of her even though she costs an arm and a leg to feed.  All I'm asking of her is that she spend the night in a 16 X 16 stall...enough room for 2 horses.  During the day she has total freedom to go where she wants.  Not a bad life if you ask me.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Hi Willie, Ron and Liz.  Hope you have a safe and fun trip to the wedding Willie.  We would love to see you in your Tux!  All men look great in a tux.  Ron, you are lucky for the rain. but I see the news stories about the flooding in the southwest.  Your home area is dry I hope.  Liz I bet Charlotte will soon get used to the shavings and do her businesses on them.  Oh the smell, but you must be used to it?  Here it poured rain for about 10 min. this afternoon!  I was very glad to get it, and my pond even overflowed with it all.  That is good.  The fish like rainwater way more than my tap water.  You all have a good evening,
Barb

I like the smell of horse poop.  I mean it's not overpowering with one single horse.
